SoggiornaFrom the Colle del Telegrafo down to Riomaggiore: 4.5 km all downhill, with about 470 metres of descent, which the National Park estimates at an hour and three quarters (two and a quarter hours uphill).
You start from the car park at the Telegrafo, next to the restaurant, and descend through Mediterranean scrub to the old hamlet of Lemmen, over tall steps and short drops with sea views. Then, through fields, olive groves and holm oaks, you reach the Sanctuary of Madonna di Montenero.
From the west side of the sanctuary the "Via Grande" begins, partly paved, descending through the woods, crossing the SP 370 coast road and following the stream to the Lavaccio car park and, along via Colombo, the centre of Riomaggiore.
