About us
SoggiornaQui is where Liguria is told to you by the people who live and work here: curated guides to villages, beaches, trails and events, and a showcase of independent properties β vacation homes, short-term rentals, rooms and small family-run places β with direct contact to your host.
The project grew out of the experience of people who have managed tourist rentals in Liguria for years and host travelers every season. The team knows both sides of the counter: what it takes to run an independent property β regulations, seasonality, guests arriving from half of Europe β and also what a traveler really wants to know before writing: what the area is like in the evening, where to park, whether that beach is good for kids, what to ask before confirming.
That dual perspective is where everything here comes from: the guides are written by people who actually spend time in these places, and the property listings contain the information you need to choose, not the information used to sell. Then contact is direct β WhatsApp, phone, email or the property's website β and you work out the agreement between yourselves, with no middleman and no commission.
Why it exists
Large booking platforms charge commissions that weigh on both sides β hosts and travelers β and put a middleman where a simple message would do. SoggiornaQui does the opposite: it puts travelers and independent properties in direct contact. The traveler finds the information, chooses, and writes directly to whoever will host them. No middleman, no commission, no hidden markup.
How we verify properties
Every listing goes through a manual check before going live:
- the CIN (National Identification Code) is mandatory: we check its format and rule out duplicates β the same code cannot appear on two listings;
- the contact details and address provided are checked for consistency before approval;
- the full CIN always remains visible on the listing: anyone can verify it independently in the Ministry of Tourism's National Register of Accommodation Facilities;
- review is ongoing: guest reports or inconsistencies can lead to a listing being suspended.
SoggiornaQui does not handle payments, does not confirm bookings and does not collect payment for stays: the agreement always remains directly between traveler and property.
