The third stage of the Blue Trail runs from Corniglia to Vernazza: 4.1 km and about 270 metres of ascent, for experienced hikers, which the National Park estimates at an hour and a half (an hour and three quarters the other way).
From Corniglia station you follow the long railway wall to the Lardarina, the flight of 33 ramps and 377 steps that climbs to the village. You continue along via Serra, past the junction with trail 587 to Cigoletta and the parish church of San Pietro, and leave the village picking up the path at the Park's ticket checkpoint.
You need the Cinque Terre Card to walk it: prices and fare bands are in our guide.
