Trail 507 climbs from Vernazza to the hamlet of San Bernardino: only 1.4 kilometres, but almost 590 metres of ascent, two hours twenty uphill according to the National Park. It is rated for experienced hikers and is one of the paths that cross the watershed between the Vara valley and the sea.

It leaves the Sentiero Azzurro about 250 metres before Vernazza, coming from Corniglia. It immediately climbs the ridge with views of the sea and gains height fast among partly abandoned vineyards, along the edge of a steep slope.

At a private road you turn right to the Comeneco pass, cross the provincial road to Corniglia and climb to San Bernardino, with the sanctuary of Nostra Signora delle Grazie and a fountain. From here the path continues as 507 B to the Cigoletta, on the Alta Via.
