This is the second stage of the Blue Trail: from Manarola to Corniglia, just over 2 km that the National Park estimates at an hour and a quarter.

From Manarola station a tunnel leads into the village; you head down towards the sea, follow the Birolli promenade and start to climb. Just outside the village you pass the roadside shrine of the "Madonna del Luogo", then the path levels out and follows Corniglia beach. A section fitted with a Tibetan bridge crosses the unstable scree; you reach Corniglia station and from there take the steps up to the village.

This section is prone to landslides and the Park closes it when needed: check today's status above before setting off.
