SoggiornaThis stretch of trail 591 runs from Il Termine, on the Alta Via, to the hermitage of Sant'Antonio on the Mesco headland: 7.2 kilometres and about 260 metres of ascent. It follows the old trail 1 to Levanto, while the Alta Via carries on along the ridge towards Foce Bardellone.
For about 2.2 kilometres it follows provincial road 38 and passes the sanctuary of Soviore, where trail 509 arrives from Monterosso and where there is water and a seasonal refreshment point. At the Colla di Gritta it leaves the road and climbs through a pine wood towards the Mesco.
With ups and downs it skirts the summits of Monte Molinelli, Rossini and Montenegro to the Colla Bagari, where trails 571C, 572, 573 and 588 lead down to Levanto. To avoid the tarmac you can reach the Colla di Gritta from the Alta Via, taking trail 591C down from the Crocettola.
