Trail 531C is a short 400-metre connector from the coast road to trail 531, the old route between Riomaggiore and Manarola over the Beccara: a quarter of an hour uphill according to the National Park.

It starts from the car park on provincial road 370, on the left side of the Corniolo tunnel. A stairway climbs towards the cultivated fields following the monorail track, which bends sharply to the left; from there you carry on level towards the sea to trail 531.
