Trail 504 runs down from the Sant'Antonio pass, at 508 metres on the Alta Via ridge, to Schiara, towards the sea: 2.5 kilometres and 370 metres of height difference, two hours according to the National Park, which rates it for experienced hikers.

At the pass, where the stairway from Biassa also arrives, there is a picnic area with tables and benches, a small church dedicated to the Alpini and a fountain. Trail 504 starts in front of the church and follows the tarmac road to Schiara, open to residents only, for about 500 metres to the so-called Menhir of Biassa: a monolith topped by a small cross, possibly of pre-Christian origin.

It then passes Nozzano, with its fountain (the Park advises checking whether the water is drinkable), through Mediterranean scrub, maritime pines and holm oaks with cork oaks, down to Schiara.
