SoggiornaTrail 504C links trail 535, a few hundred metres past Campiglia, with the small hamlet of Schiara: 800 metres and 220 metres of height difference. The National Park allows 50 minutes one way and 30 the other.
Leaving the 535 to the left, a steep stairway drops between the walls of abandoned vineyards to what is probably the route of the old Via Provinciale, now disused. The path continues steeply over uneven ground through the woods, then looks out over the first vineyards of Schiara and reaches the houses of Costa di Schiara.
You pass between the houses and follow a level lane into Schiara, near the oratory of Sant'Antonio, where you meet trail 504.
