SoggiornaTrail 530C is a short link above Riomaggiore: 700 metres and 150 metres of height difference, a quarter of an hour according to the National Park. It leaves the Alta Via at the Bramapane junction and descends the Scala Santa, the old pilgrimage route of tall sandstone steps.
It reaches the abandoned Schiappacasse quarry: from its yard you see Riomaggiore from an unusual angle, which the Park points out for its view.
From the quarry, the old dirt track used by the quarrymen leads in a few minutes to Cerricò, where the path joins trail 530, the Via dei Santuari.
