SoggiornaTrail 506V is the variant of the 506 that passes through the hamlet of Groppo, above Manarola: 1.2 kilometres and about 240 metres of ascent, 35 minutes uphill according to the National Park.
After the junction with provincial road 51 it starts near a little bridge over the Rio Groppo, with a shrine and a fountain on the left; shortly after, on the right, trail 502 begins. It crosses Groppo, where there is another fountain, and skirts it to the north among vegetable plots and fields, mostly olive groves.
A stairway between cultivated plots leads back to provincial road 51. Across the road, you climb through fields, first cultivated and then abandoned, to the tarmac stretch of the Via dei Santuari (530); after a short shared section, the path climbs through the woods to rejoin the 506.
