National Val Bormida Truffle Festival 2026 in Millesimo

From 2 to 4 October 2026 the medieval village of Millesimo hosts the XXXIV National Val Bormida Truffle Festival, organised by the Municipality of Millesimo and the Ligurian Truffle Hunters and Growers Association under the patronage of the Italian Ministry of Agriculture (MASAF). The old town fills with exhibitors, street food stalls, partner restaurants, concerts, circus shows, exhibitions, trekking, markets and truffle-hunting contests, plus street theatre through the village. Millesimo, one of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy, is known for its triangular shape, the Gaietta bridge and the truffle: all 9 edible varieties are found here, and the tradition of truffle hunting is handed down from father to son.
