Chestnut-flour Trofie Festival in Busalla

On Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 October 2026 Busalla, in the Scrivia Valley, celebrates the colours and flavours of autumn with the Chestnut-flour Trofie Festival, organised by the Pro Loco Busalla. The star is chestnut trofie, a dish from the old days, when the community depended on the woods: they are prepared with pesto or with stracchino cheese and served at lunch and dinner. There are also steaming roast chestnuts and mulled wine to warm up the days. The squares of the old town host markets of crafts, local products and hobby items, for a weekend of celebration and conviviality for young and old.
