From 16 to 20 February 2027 the Teatro Ariston hosts the 77th Sanremo Festival, with artistic director Stefano De Martino, who was named live on stage during the 2026 edition, a first in the festival's history. Born in 1951, the Festival has accompanied Italian history from the post-war years to today. Beyond the TV evenings, the week brings side events to town and the FantaSanremo, the social game that turns every performance into a contest of bonus and penalty points. In Sanremo you can look out for the stars around the Ariston, in via Matteotti, and try sardenaira, the typical "focaccia" of Sanremo and the Ponente, perfect street food between one concert and the next.
