Di Molo in Molo: la storia del Porto Antico di Genova

"Di Molo in Molo" is the programme that from 27 June to 29 November 2026 takes visitors through the history of Genoa's old harbour. The thread is the bond that has tied the city to the sea for centuries: trade, port trades, and the people who lived and worked among the quays. The events move through places and traces still legible on site — from the historic Tannet Walker crane to the marks left by the harbour railway and the surviving structures of the docks. It is a different way of visiting an area many people cross only on their way to the Aquarium: here the port is the subject, not the backdrop. Individual dates and how to take part are published by the organisers and should be checked before turning up.
