Chestnut Festival in Andagna

On Sunday 11 October 2026 in Andagna, a village among the woods of the Argentina Valley close to Triora, the Pro Loco Andagna welcomes autumn with the Chestnut Festival, a fixture of the season. It starts with grape must and roast chestnuts, followed by a special chestnut menu from starter to dessert: every recipe is made with chestnut flour, including trofie, tagliatelle, cakes and Ligurian castagnaccio, and there may also be rostelle and chips. In the afternoon there is music and dancing with the "Beatrice e Serena" orchestra, for dancers and food lovers until evening. The festival is very popular and the organisers recommend booking.
