SoggiornaThe Via alla Rocca is a cross-country classic, used in events for years: number 299 on the Finale Outdoor Region map, easy all-mountain, rideable both ways, in the Golfo dell'Isola area.
It starts with about 800 metres of steep tarmac climbing, then continues on dirt with several changes of gradient and, passing through Metti, reaches the Tosse–Vado road.
La Rete ends here and La Folia begins. Uphill it is demanding and suits e-bikes; downhill it is fast, but keep your speed in check because the sandy surface can catch you out. Before you set off, check on the Finale Outdoor Region website that it is open: trails close for maintenance, races or bad weather.
