SoggiornaThe Cave trail is short, natural and technical: number 18 on the Finale Outdoor Region map, intermediate all-mountain. It runs through dense woodland, with tight turns and narrow gaps between the trees.
Near the end it passes right by some medieval quarries that can still be visited. This is where Pietra del Finale was quarried, the stone used for the bridges, walls and buildings you see on most rides around Finale.
It leads to the start of the Cà du Puncin trail. Before you set off, check on the Finale Outdoor Region website that it is open: trails close for maintenance, races or bad weather.
