SoggiornaThe Tagliego is one of the most used dirt roads for climbing towards the Colle del Melogno: number 177 on the Finale Outdoor Region map, easy-to-intermediate cross-country, linking the municipality of Rialto with the Din and Madonna della Neve area.
It is a long stretch, steep in places, through old olive groves and woods of chestnut and birch.
At some junctions you can also head up towards the Base Nato, but you need to know the area or go with a guide. Before you set off, check on the Finale Outdoor Region website that it is open: trails close for maintenance, races or bad weather.
