The Stalitto Trail is an alternative to the big dirt road leading to the best-known San Bernardino trails and the Ciappi: number 67 on the Finale Outdoor Region map, intermediate-to-difficult enduro.
It starts easy in the woods, then comes out into a recently logged area and tackles a squeeze between two rocks that is barely rideable.
It then descends on mixed rock and dirt, fairly technical, to a small valley, and climbs gently up the other side through the woods, between dry-stone walls. Before you set off, check on the Finale Outdoor Region website that it is open: trails close for maintenance, races or bad weather.
