The Ruggetta is a characteristic trail of the San Bernardino plateau: number 56 on the Finale Outdoor Region map, a difficult enduro trail. It was first used in 2018, in the Enduro World Series Challenger race.

It follows a stretch of the old road on which locals carried salt by donkey. The line is narrow but offers plenty of options.

Halfway down there is a fairly technical stepped section about 15 metres long, followed by a stretch where you have to pedal. If you want something more technical, try the Megalithic. Before you set off, check on the Finale Outdoor Region website that it is open: trails close for maintenance, races or bad weather.
