SoggiornaThe Orco–Colla San Giacomo dirt road is one of the off-tarmac ways to climb from Orco to the Colla di San Giacomo and the Base Nato area: number 135 on the Finale Outdoor Region map, easy-to-intermediate cross-country, rideable both ways.
It is steep and lets you avoid the Pian dei Corsi road. Along the way it crosses other dirt roads leading to several trail areas.
Hunters and motorbikes use it too, so watch out for oncoming traffic. Before you set off, check on the Finale Outdoor Region website that it is open: trails close for maintenance, races or bad weather.
