The Monte Alto trail starts from the Colla di San Giacomo and runs along the foot of Monte Alto on its north side: number 138 on the Finale Outdoor Region map, intermediate all-mountain.

It is a fun, flowing up-and-down through a beautiful beech wood.

It is a great link to some of the Mallare trails, the Supergroppo and the Tagliate wood. Before you set off, check on the Finale Outdoor Region website that it is open: trails close for maintenance, races or bad weather.
