The A.N.A. is a climb: it follows an old Alpini path from Finalborgo up to the San Bernardino plateau. It is number 62 on the Finale Outdoor Region map, which recommends it for e-bikers or anyone who wants to test their legs and lungs.

It starts just outside the Porta Reale of Finalborgo with a stiff climb. First come fine views between the houses, then it rises through a typically Ligurian landscape of terraces, olive groves and fruit trees.

It passes Monticello and continues on cobbles to the top of the plateau. The name comes from the Associazione Nazionale Alpini, to whom the path is dedicated. Before you set off, check on the Finale Outdoor Region website that it is open: trails close for maintenance, races or bad weather.
