Vintage Sails in Imperia 2026

Vele d'Epoca in Imperia 2026 is the gathering and regatta series for historic boats organised by the Municipality of Imperia together with Assonautica Imperia, between the districts of Oneglia and Porto Maurizio, from 28 August to 6 September. Five classes take part: Epoca (wood or metal, built up to 1950), Classici (up to 1976), Classic IOR (1970–1984), Spirit of Tradition (up to 10 metres) and the international 8mR class. Born in 1986 on the initiative of commander Pier Franco Gavagni, the event involves Marina di Imperia, the Coast Guard, the Navy, the Italian Sailing Federation, the Yacht Clubs of Imperia and Sanremo and the Lega Navale Italiana.
